About Us
Millicent M Lowe
Millicent M. Lowe is a U.S. Navy and Army National Guard veteran with over three decades of honorable service and leadership. She served in key global operations—including Desert Storm, 9/11, and Operation Enduring Freedom—rising through the ranks in a field historically resistant to gender equality. Her experience spans combat missions, command roles, and post-military leadership with the U.S. Postal Service, where she trained and mentored diverse teams in high-pressure environments.
Her military career shaped more than her discipline—it sharpened her voice.
That voice became the foundation for her groundbreaking book, The Glass Ceiling. Originally written as her MBA thesis, the book uses real Navy data, personal insight, and rigorous research to expose the invisible barriers that prevent women from advancing into senior military leadership. Through this powerful work, Millicent transforms her service into advocacy, giving voice to women who have been overlooked and paving the way for lasting change.
